Gocek is a beautiful upmarket resort on the Aegean coast popular with jetsetters from Turkey and abroad. It is a top yachting centre of Turkey and an internationally famous port city.
Gocek has four marinas and the whole bay is covered by boats, from dinghies to multimillion dollar megayachts. There is no beach in the city, which most people claim is the main reason why Gocek preserved most of its original beauty unlike many other Turkish resorts changed by mass tourism.
