Dalaman is still very much a quiet region with unspoilt beaches, ancient ruins and parks. It offers tranquillity and exceptional beauty. There are two main beaches in the area: protected Iztuzu Beach (famous for the turtle Careta Careta which lay their eggs there), and Sarigerme Beach. The town is ideally situated close to many resort areas such as Dalyan, Gocek and Sarigerme.
Akkaya is an unspoilt rural area near Dalaman with stunning lake and mountain views. The location is stunning with villas scattered widely across a mountainside, amongst pine trees, olive groves and meadows, overlooking an emerald green lake. Akkaya is especially ideal for those looking to buy a property in Turkey to relocate.

Dalaman and Property Market
Property prices in Dalaman are low compared to other parts of the Turkish Riviera, but unprecedented interest from investors and foreign buyers are pushing them up fast. Government plans to develop Dalaman into a major tourist destination will ensure sustained capital growth for buyers, while the uniqueness and exclusivity of the place will add to its desirability and property values.
Not only does Dalaman have an international airport which makes it very accessible but also is designated as a tourism centre with a soon-to-be constructed marina, golf course and a health centre.
