Akbuk is not yet as well known as resorts of Kusadasi or Bodrum but it has all the potential to become a luxury resort. The tranquillity and striking beauty of Akbuk attract those looking for a quiet holiday and those wishing to buy their dream property in Turkey.

The Garden Restaurant, for instance, is a quality restaurant offering traditional Turkish cuisine in comfortable and beautiful surroundings while almost next door is Pizza Hatti, a family run business serving delicious freshly cooked food at very cheap prices and you can watch the food being cooked in the clay oven. Akbuk Property Market

Akbuk is a quiet and picturesque resort very different in character from the neighbouring Altinkum. And because of that it is favoured by more mature property buyers who appreciate the town’s tranquillity.

For many years Akbuk has been a holiday resort for affluent Turks who built their holiday homes there and because of that you can find a good selection of resale properties in Akbuk. Many of those properties are more than ten years old and require some renovation and updating.

You will also find a good choice of newly built villas and apartments in Akbuk and majority of them benefit from the sea view. Unlike Altinkum, which is very flat, Akbuk is a hilly area and thanks to that most properties you will find in Akbuk have a sea view.

Property prices in Akbuk are very affordable but higher than property prices in the neighbouring Altinkum; this is because Akbuk has strict building regulations which prevent overdevelopment and ensure that the area will not be affected by mass tourism. The building permission in Akbuk is just 15% and properties can be no higher than 2.5 storeys.
